Team Kennet started the Wessex League campaign with a superb second place at Basingstoke, and to take Two League records on the way, Ben East throwing a massive 70.02 to extend his UK Number one Spot and taking him to European number 1 and Phoebe Hoaen 44.92 Uk Number two to break the Wessex League records in both the under 17 age groups.

On the day the under 17 Women won their age group with tough competition, with Hoaen winning the A javelin, Anna Montagne won the B string with a big 25.97 throw, Anna went on to win the High Jump with 1.55 and Ellie Armstrong won the B string 1.35, the Shot Armstrong had to settle for third 9.72 with Ellie Kerslake third, long jump Izzy kerslake came 4th A and Georgina Thomson 3rd B string. On the Track the Thomson twins teamed up with Rebecca coming 2nd A in the 800m and Georgina winning the B string, in the 1500m Rebecca was 2nd A string 5.29 and Georgina 2nd B 5.33, two more 2nd places came in the 300m R. Thomson 50.3 and Hoaen, the 200m Ellie Armstrong came 5th in 29.6 and Hoaen 2nd b string 29.8 and finally the 100m Izzy Kerslake came 4th 13.8 and Ellie Kerslake 2nd B 14.1. The Relay quartet of Kerslake and Thomson twins came home in 2nd place.
The under 13 girls also took a age group win winning 9 of the events, The Javelin saw a double win Eve Brown 21.94 and Claire McGonnell 19.46, the Shot saw another double Zoe Allen 7.23 and Eve Brown 5.11, another double win came in the long jump Lyla Goodwin 3.78 and Tavie Thomas 3.76 and in the High Jump two 2nd places came from Neve Wright and Claire McGonnell both leaping 1.15. The track fared well McGonnell started the day of with a brilliant win in 13.0 and Kirsten Fraser taking 2nd B string 14.5, Eve Brown made it a hattrick of wins in the 1200 4.26 and Emma Davies taking 2nd B string 4.36 in the 800m Kirsten Fraser was fired up to win in 2.30.6 and team m, Lyla Goodwin came 6th in the 100m and 5th in the 200ate Alana Smith came 2nd 2.57.8. Zoe Allen had to settle for 3rd place in the 100m 14.1 and 2nd in the 200m 29.5 B strings. The Relay quartet of McGonnell, Allen, Goodwin and Thomas came 2nd 59.9 just missing out on a win
The under 17 men came close to winning, had to settle for second place in their age group, Ben taking the honours here in the Javelin and Oliver Gregory taking 2nd place in the B string. Double win came in the Shot Harry Booker 10.51 and Gregory 9.83. Booker cleared 1.60 in the high jump for first place, both TK athletes came 3rd in the Long Jump Oliver Bazin and Alex McLaughlin. On the track Booker came 2nd in the 100m hurdles16.3, the 400m saw a good race Ethan Haines coming in 3rd 56.9 while Oliver Bazin came 2nd B string 57.1, the shorter 200m Haines came 3rd 25.0 and Gregory 2nd B string 25.4, the 100m Bazin was 4th 12.2. Finally the 4x100m quartet of Bazin, Haines, Booker and Gregory came 2nd.
The under 13 Boys finished 2nd place in their age group, which was made up of first year under 13s mainly, they did well William Harris winning the 75m hurdles 15.1, two superb 2nd places came in the 1500m Ivan Chelmazov 5.17.3 and Kian D Arcy Masters 5.27.4, Harris ran a good 200m A a string for 2nd place 29.1 with Max Casey 3rd B string 31.2, Harris again coming 2nd in the 100m 13.7 and Ben Fisher 4th 15.7 in the B string. The Relay Quartet Fisher, Fenner, Harris and Avery came home 2nd place 59.9. On the Field two good second places came in the high jump Chekmazov 1.27 and William Appleby 1.10, The Shot Seb Simpson came 4th A 6.57 but a great B string win came from Sam Dennis 5.98, the Javelin James Fenner came 4th 21.12 and Josepth Hoaen 2nd B string 16.8
The under 15s both came fourth in their age groups, missing quite a few key athletes they faired well in their events, in the girls a double win came in the 800m Annabel Todd 2.27.4 and Annalise Gale 2.43.3, points came in steady from rest of the girls Emily tucker, lottie Absolom, Annabel Gibson, Aimee Dickson and Ella Ward. On the boys Oliver Ford 9.87 , and Kian Hockaday both took wins in the Shot, in a good Javelin competition Hockaday was 3rd 33.48 and Ford 2nd 28.55, Noah Kemp ran 4.54 in the 1500m for 3rd place best on the track. Both relay teams coming 3rd place.
