Berkshire County Road Running Championships

If you live in Berkshire, or were born in Berkshire, and are a regular competitor in the Wokingham Half (24th Feb), Maidenhead 10M (Friday 19th April), Marlow 5K (12th May) or Burnham Beeches 10K  11th August), you may wish to register for the Berkshire County Road Running Champs (there is no extra charge for this).
You just enter the races as usual, then notify Berkshire Athletics prior to the scheduled race date at rr@berkshireathletics.org.uk, quoting:

  • Race number (if available)
  • Name
  • Sex ( M/F )
  • Club
  • Date of Birth
  • Criterion for eligibility e.g. birth / residence

In each of the four above races, Berkshire County AA medals are awarded to the first 3 registered Berkshire runners in each age category:

  • Male – under 40, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
  • Female – under 35, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64,65+

The top 10 registered Berkshire runners in each category of each of the four races score ten through to one point respectively towards the series trophy. At the end of the season, the highest scoring runner in each category will receive a trophy. You do not necessarily have to do all four races to win a trophy, so it is worth registering!
