Team Kennet had several Athletes compete in the South of England Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Lee Valley over the weekend.
TK secured one Bronze medal in the under 13 girls 800m as Emerald Hill-Sawyer clocked 2.40.73 to take a 3rd place.
George Down just missed out on a medal in the under 17 mens Long Jump finishing in 4th place with 6.12.
Luke Stiles also came 4th just missing out in the under 13 Boys long jump leaping 3.86 which was a new club record for indoors, he also broke his own club record in the 800m he set 2 weeks ago coming 5th with 2.48.29. Luke also took part in the 60m sprint coming 6th in his heat 9.54.
Clare McGonnell took part in the under women 400m clocking 67.48 for 4th placed in her heat, she also ran in the 200m coming 6th in her heat with 29.09.
Amber Stiles took part in the under 15 girls, she came 4th in her 800m heat 2.45.74, 11th in the Long Jump pool 3.65 and 5th in her heat of the 60m hurdles 11.54.
