<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 15 girls were the strongest section of the 70 athletes that turned up at Bournemouth, winning their age group Izzie McHattie missed out on going UK number 1 with 33.10 in the Javelin for a good win with Sarah Saunders taking the B string 18.83, McHattie made it two wins in the shot with a massive 11.13 to hit 5th place in the UK Rankings, with Leah Beechey winning the B string 8.92. Sarah Saunders came 2nd in the Discus 16.44 but Georgina Bradford took the B string points.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Good results came from the  Track Yasmin Ryder dominated the 1500m to win in 4.57.8 with Charlie Estcourt winning the B string 5.34.2. Georgina Bradford made it a middle distance double by winning the 800m in 2.28.4 and Chloe Scaplehorn the B string 2.41.6.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">New Comer Selina Jones made he debut by coming 2nd in the 75m hurdles 13.7 which was matched in placings by Beechey, the sprints saw Millie Calkin2nd in the 200 27.6, with Annabel Chaffey 2nd B string in the 100 13.7. The 300m  saw Ryder storm home for her second win of the day in 46.3 and Rebecca Allan second in the B string 52.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 17 men age group was at a very high standard Peter Saunders had one of his best days ever by winning the long jump and setting a new club record with 6.22, he came 2nd in the A string 100m in 11.8 and won the B string 400 53.8</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Samuel Randall showed his talent on the day coming 2nd in the 200 23.6 and winning the 400m 51.9.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Matt Davies came 2nd in the 100 12.2 B string and again in the 200m B string 24.7 and won the B string 100m hurdles 15.3 while team mate Jack Hatton won the A string in 14.4</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The throws saw good distances achieved new comer Chris George threw 11.98 in the shot for 3rd place with Luke Angell 9.79 for 2nd B string, Angell went one better to win the Javelin outright 41.66 and in the Discus he won the B string 24.51 with George 29.55 for 3rd A string</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 17 womens throwers were in form with Emma Seymour winning the Discus 27.98 and Alishia Bradford 26.87 for a B string win, Bradford won the  Shot 8.39 and Kitty Brockbank won the  B string 7.74. Kitties favourite event saw her 2nd in the Javelin with 25.43 with Bradford winning the  Bstring 15.27. On the track Brandy Funderburk made a welcome return by winning the B string 200 28.2 while Codie Burnett came 2nd in the  200 27.7 and won the A string 300m 45.3 and the B string long jump.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 13 boys started the season off well new comer Dylan Suppo won the  B string 100 14.5 and Shot 4.66, Evan Hartley enjoyed his step up by winning the B string 75m hurdles 15.7 and Long Jump 3.90.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Luke McMahon was 2nd in the 200m B string 30.7 and clearing over 4m in the long jump for 3rd place. Jordan Hole best  event on the day was the high jump coming second 1.20 and Thrower Oliver Hewitt carried on improving with a win in the Shot 6.09, second in the Javelin 19.41</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 15 boys settled for alot of second places, Josh Willock in the 100m and 200m 12.4 and 24.7, the 400m saw Nathan Gillis and Alex Hanson do the same with Gillis and Uden in the 1500m with Gillis 4.42.5. Max Lambourne came 2nd in the  Discus 23.52 and in the JAvelin Haydon Pike was 2nd with 30.38 and Lambourne won the B string 28.91, Christian Randall came second in the B string Shot, the best of the day was Willock winning the long jump 5.39</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">finally the u13 girls saw alot of u11s move up, but experienced their day out very well, Chloe Spencer-ades won the B string 70m hurdles 14.2 then the shot. the Discus Chloe Jones and Annabel Mangan both came 2nd in their strings, and Harriet Allan and  Lexi Fellows matched that in the High jump, with Fellows coming 4th in the sprint hurdles A string 14.1. the longer distances saw Carys Cox second in the 1200 4.28.5 with Allan winning the B string 4.48.3 and in the 800 Jordan Donavon second A string 2.42.5 and Fellows winning the  Bstring 2.53.6</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Five club records were broken at the meeting. Sam Randall in the U17M 200m and 400m, Chris George U17M Shot, Izzie McHattie in the U15G Shot and Peter Saunders in U17M Long Jump which also broke the overall senior club record.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 11s now compete in a new league system in the Wessex League, the boys and girls now have seperate league tables. a squad of 15 under 11s turned out for the first match at Bournemouth where the boys came 2nd in their match, Rory McCullouch came 7th overall in the all rounder clocking 11.5 for the 75m, jumping 3.08 in the long jump and throwing the howler 29.40, Joe Richardson was 8th with the 600 his best result of the day 2.04 and Nick Field was 9th out of 30 boys with 11.8 for the 75m and 2.07 for the 600</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The Girls were 3rd on the day in a close match Kira Angell came 5th overall with 12.3 in the 75m, 2.77 long jump, 2.12 600 and 19.80 in the howler. Mai Brown was 13th with 2.13 her best event in the 600, with Rachel Allan throwing the howler 17.95 and Aimee Cassell 12.2 for the 75 the best of the girls</span></div>

<p>Team Kennet had a great day out at this Year London Marathon, going in a team mini bus at 5am in the morning is not the best way to be looking at running 26.2 miles, but it seemed to pay of for the clubs athletes. Tom Milburn ran his first ever marathon and just missed the 3 hour mark to finish 1102nd place with 3.00.52, Guy Watts was next in with 3.16.04 top 2400, followed by vet 45 John Marriott 3.19.18. Jenny Eaton who has been training very hard was rewarded with a brilliant 3.25.06 to finish 363rd lady, Lee Jones was next home in 3.34.36 then Simon Whatson 3.39.38, Simon Berry 3.42.51, Yvonne Pape 3.42.51 and Nikki Thomas 4.47.48</p>
