UKA Scholarship

Luke Angell achieves UKA Scholarship Award.

Congratulation to Luke Angell on passing his NVQ 3 in Understanding Sports Performance and Achieving Excellence in Sports Performance at Loughborough University.

Luke was awarded a UKA Scholarship in December 2012 after his power 10 status showed him at the top of his event. Luke was selected with approximately 80 other athletes in the UK to start the AASE programme. The programme itself covers elements of Lifestyle, Dope testing, Sponsorship as well as having access to  Nutritionist, Physiotherapist and a psychologist. Starting in April 2013 Luke continued to study the AASE programme and 12 months after starting the course, which Luke did along side his Sparsholt college course, he completed and achieved something that few people are offered from the UKA.

Good luck to anyone who gets the chance to do this, someone is always watching you!
