			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Team Kennet carried on from last two weekends with another superb effort in the South of England Championships this time at Cross Country at Brighton. Under 15 Nathan Gillis secured the club highest ever place in this event with 11th place just 2 seconds of making top 10.</p>
<p>The under 15 girls were out in force as usual this season and were 17th team overall, Yasmin Ryder led the way with 57th place, with Chloe Scaplehorn not far behind over this hilly course in 101st, Georgina Bradford 126th and Rhea Walter 151st made up the team with Alexandra Maughan 176th. In the Under 13 girls, Carys Cox came 90th, Lexi Fellows 162nd and Jordan Donovan 205th. Jamie Maughan was the clubs only competitor in the u13 boys race with 149th and Michael Randall was 80th in the Under 20 Mens race.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Team Kennet were in action on sunday in the third round of the Oxford Mail cross country league. A much depleted squad travelled the 56 miles to Middleton Cheney and again as in the previous matches the u11s got the best places of the clubs athletes.</p>
<p>In the under 11 girls Eleanor Krefting kept her medal hopes alive with an excellent 2nd place, with Antonia Lewis coming home just behind in 3rd place and Charlotte Bradley last months winner in 6th. Mai Brown came 15th with Izzy Hole 25th and Mia Eldridge 43rd. Sam Hart came an excellent 3rd place with Josh Livingstone 22nd in the boys under 11s.</p>
<p>The under 15 girls saw Yasmin Ryder home in 4th place with Chloe Scaplehorn 9th and Georgina Bradford 11th for third team which they keep in the overall standings. Rhea Walter was next home in 12th, Kirsty Bennet having a great run in 13th, Alex Maughan 16th and Charlie Estcourt 17th. Susie Drake led the u13 girls home with an excellent run in 8th place, Carys Cox was 13th, Imogen Harding also having a good run was 15th for 4th place team with Jordan Donavon 22nd. Alex Hanson led the u15 boys home in 6th place with Daniel Collis 9th. Emma Seymour was 11th in the u17 womens race. In the u13 boys Jordan Hole came 16th with Alex Davis 19th.</p>
<p>The seniors ladies team were led home by Helen Preedy in 10th place with Sue Francis 12th who lies 3rd overal in the v35, Margaret Topham was 138th with Gillian Anton 144th. In the mens race Micheal Randall was 39th, David Anderson 198th, Mike Sheridan 206th and Colin Price 236th</p>

<p><a href="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-010.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-5535" src="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-010-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="135" /></a>The <a href="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-013.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-5536" src="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-013-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="135" /></a>Womens Race for once saw a good group of yellow vests and this was rewarded with Helen Preedy coming home in 4th place, Harriet Chettleborough 11th, Jenny Eaton 17th and Harriet Fidler 21st to take 3rd team overall, with Mary Allan 22nd and Sandra Davies 24th it was enough to give the Vet Ladies team 2nd place.The Mens team did just as well matching the women, the first time that sees both senior and vets team take medals in a county championship, the bronze team were Guy Watts 17th, Tom Milburn 22nd, Gavin McCloughlin 26th, Bart Kujiten 28th, Lee Jones 30th, Mike Sheridan 32nd, Lucca Ricchi 34th and Ron Stevenson 35th, The Vets Team came home with the Silver award.</p>
<p><a href="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-019.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-5534" src="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/berkshire-xc-2012-019-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="135" /></a>Team Kennet continued all day with teams in all the races, the u13 boys saw the club field a third of the athletes, which brought home a Bronze Medal, Sam Hart led the way with 9th place, followed by Jamie Maughan 13th, Jordan Hole 16th, Bradley Thomas 17th, Alex Davis 19th, Joe Osler 20th and Jacques Chapel 21st. The under 15 boys also struck a bronze  team medal, Alex Hansen had a good run for 8th place with Nathan Gillis full of cold in 10th, Daniel Collis 14th and Aaron Conway 18th. The under 20 mens race Micheal Randall just missed out on a medal with a fine 5th place with Luke Conway in 7th. The under 13 girls saw only 4 club athletes run much below than usual but they just missed out on a bronze, Cary Cox came in first for the club in 13th with Jordan Donavon 20th, Chloe Jones 22nd and Carli Nicholls 24th.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Team Kennet Athletes carried on from the last league match to produce another record for the club in the 2nd round of the Oxford Mail cross country league at Cullham Park near Abingdon on Sunday 4th December.</p>
<p>The club, now very solid in all age groups, produced the best ever result in the u11s races as again they stole the clubs highlights. Charlotte Bradleycontinued where she left off from last match to record another outstanding win by a huge margin and she tops her age group. She was backed up well with Eleanor Krefting who came 3rd to put her overall third in the individuals. Mai Brown made a welcome return with an excellent 13th, with new comer Lilly Gohara 20th, Mai Eldridge 23rd, Emily Gould 24th, Ellie Randall 28th and Bethany Jones 49th.</p>
<p>Sam Hart made it another club victory on the day to lift him upto first place in the individual placings. He was backed up again by James McLaughlin in a superb 3rd place to put him 3rd overall, Josh Livingstone was next home in 23rd, Harry Brooker 30th, David Calder 33rd, Alex McLaughlin 41st and Charlie Hart 45th. </p>
<p>The under 15 girls had a superb turnout again and team results, Yasmin Ryder brought the yellow vests home in 3rd place on the day, with Chloe Scaplehorn 7th and Georgina Bradford 9th for 2nd place team, Charlie Estcourt led the B team home in a fine 10th place, Alex Maughan getting the better of Kirsty Bennet 16th and 17th with Keren Gillis 19th and Amelia Wenlock 21st for 8th and 10th place teams. </p>
<p>Nathan Gillis just can&#8217;t get to the winner of his race again beaten by just a few seconds, as he came 2nd to keep him second in the individual rankings, Alex Hanson had a great run for 7th place with Daniel Collis 9th for 4th team and Aaron Conway 20th. </p>
<p>The Senior Womens team had a much better turnout and for once the results going the clubs way, Helen Preedy came home in an excellent 7th place with Sue Francis 13th and Lucy Gittens 20th (2nd vet 45) for 2nd place team taking them to 2nd place overall in Division 1. The B team was led home by Jenny Eaton 30th, Debbie Bishop 79th and Harriet Fidler 83rd  for 13th place in Division 2, with Fay Jones 147 and Gillian Anton 148th. </p>
<p>The Senior Mens Race saw Micheal Randall come home in 28th place but 2nd place in the u20s to take him 3rd in his age group, Guy Watts next home in 42nd, with Aston Nicholls 58th (3rd u20), Mark Shepherd 63rd, Gavin McLaughlin 89th, Luke Conway 110th and Martin Fray 136th for 3rd place team in Division 2, which puts them in the same place in the league. Lee Jones was next 139th, Rob Maslen 223, David Anderson 228, Colin Price 232, Richard Bickerton 241, Mike Sheridan 243. </p>
<p>Carys Cox led the u13 girls home with a much improved 4th place, with Lexi Fellows 6th and Jordan Donavon 18th for 4th place team, Susie Drake 19th led the B team with Imogen Harding 33rd, Carli Nicholls 36th and Elysia O&#8217;Dell 41st for 10th place team. </p>
<p>The u13 boys Jamie Maughan came in 17th with Alex Davis 26th and Evan Hartley 27th for 9th team. The u17 age groups saw Emma Seymour home in 10th place and in the male race Samuel Randall was 14th</p>

<p>The u15 girls saw the clubs biggest turnout of athletes where most are bottom of their age group and this was rewarded with a Team Silver medal. Yasmin Ryder was first home for the clubs A team just missing out on individual medal in 4th place, and solid backing came from one of her best ever runs from Rhea Walter in 12th place who just got the better of Chloe Scaplehorn 13th. The B team were 5th overall; Georgina Bradford led them home in 18th with Chloe Estcourt 20th and Amelia Wenlock 30th, Kirsty Bennet 32nd and Keren Gillis 33rd.</p>
<p>Helen Preedy led the womens team home in 9th with Hariet Fidler 46st, Sandra Davies 53rd and Mary Allan 54th to come 6th in the team event.</p>
<p>In the u20 mens race Micheal Randall just missed out on medals with an excellent 5th place and Luke Conway was 15th. Emma Seymour came an excellent 18th place in the u17 womens race, while in the u17 boys Bryn Morris-loughlin was 26th.</p>
<p>The u13 boys Jordan Hole ran well for 12th place with Alex Davis 19th and Evan Hartley 20th for team 5th. In the u13 girls Carys Cox found the going tough for 17th with Susie Drake growing in confidence 18th, Jordan Donavon 31st, Harriet Allan 35th and Imogen Harding 37th for team 8th.</p>
<p>In the senior mens race James Wilding 60th, Rob Maslen 68th, Mike Sheridan 69th, Colin Price 73rd, Alan Bray 80th again giving the team 8th place.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Team Kennet started their Cross Country season off at the Oxford Mail Cross Country League at Ascott-under-Wychwood on Sunday, a record turnout from the club achieved some outstanding performances setting up a good season in front of the club.</p>
<p>For once it was the u11s that stole the clubs highlights, Sam Hart and Jamie McLoughlin were both locked in a battle up the front of the race for a great finish by both to come home in 2nd and 3rd places, Josh Livingstone was next home in 25th, david Calder 29th and Charlie Hart 41st,</p>
<p>Newcomer Charlotte Bradley made her debut for the club with an excellent 2nd place with another newcomer Eleanor Krefting taking 4th place. Ellie Randall had a great run with 16th with a mass of girls behind her Mia Eldridge 24th, Izzy Hole 27th, Elizabeth Romanski 28th, Kira Angell 38th and Beth Jones 50th.</p>
<p>The under 15 boys race was anther close affair, Nathan Gillis was just pipped for 2nd place by just 5 seconds, Alex Hanson came home in 11th with Danniel Collis 14th for 6th place team, Aaron Conway 18th and Rohan Morris-Loughlin 21st for 15th B team, in the under 17s Peter Saunders 35th and Alex Roue 53rd</p>
<p>The under 13 girls saw another bumper crop by the club, it was Lexi Fellows that came home first for the yellow vests with 5th place, Carys Cox who was in top 5 nearly alway round suffered an astma attack to finish 13th, with Jordan Donavon 22nd for 5th place team, Susie Drake lead the B team home 23rd, Chloe Jones 29th and Carli Nicholls 43rd for 9th team.</p>
<p>The under 15 girls had the best turnout by the youngsters of any club that day with Yasmin Ryder stepping up to come home in 5th place and Georgina Bradford finishing strong for 10th place and Chloe Scaplehorn 12th for 5th place team, packing was in good order for the girls as Charlie Estcourt lead the B team in 14th, Rhea Walter 15th and Alexandra Maughan 20th for 8th place, and the C team was led by new comer Kirsty Bennet 23rd, Keren Gillis 26th and Emma Seymour 47th (under 17) for 13th place team.</p>
<p>The under 13 boys were led home by James Maughan 13th, with Jordan Hole not far behind 16th, and Evan Hartley 22nd, Alex Davis 24th for 7th place team.</p>
<p>The Senior Ladies team start in Division 1 after 5th place last season, they got off with a good start with 4th place on the day, Helen Preedy led the way with 9th place and Sue Francis 14th and 2nd vet 35 on the day, Lucy Gettins 36th and Jenny Eaton 37th (4th and 5th vet 45), Margaret Tophan 170th and Gillian Anton 182nd.</p>
<p>The men are in Division 2, and they matched the womens team placing with a 4th place, Guy Watts led the team home in 47th, with Micheal Randall moving up as u20 too finish 58th (5th u20) and Mark Sheppard 88th, Luke Conway 112th (u20) Martin Fry 117th, Gavin McLoughlin 136th, Lee Jones 147th, Mike Sheridan 256th, Colin Price 257th and Richard Bickerton 268th</p>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Micheal Randall (park house) was the highest placed club athlete in 107th in the Senior boys race coming home 2nd out of the Berkshire team, in the same race Luke Conway (kennet) came 278th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Yasmin Ryder (st. barts) came 155th in her race also being the 2nd berkshire runner home in the junior girs, while Samuel Randall (st. barts) helped the berkshire team home in 6th place in the inter boys race 302nd</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 13 girls race saw 9 club athletes turnout and Yasmin Ryder took the race in full control over a 2 lap muddy course to win the race and win the individual honuors outright, Georgina Bradford ran her best race ever to finish 4th on the day and was backed by Charlie Estcourt in 7th for the team to finish 2nd overall behind Oxford. Other runners Chloe Scaplehorn 12th, Carys Cox 15th, Alex <a href="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Under13Girls.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-4125" src="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Under13Girls-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="135" /></a>Maughan 22nd, Jordan Donovan 26th, Amelia Wenlock 27th and Harriet Allan 29th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Micheal Randall was just out sprinted in the under 17s race to come home in 2nd place but this was enough to take first place in the individuals, Luke Conway came home in 6th place with Aston Nicholls 7th for the team to finish 3rd overall.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Evan Hartley in the under 11s finished strong to come home in 3rd place to just miss out on bronze, while James Mclaughlin came home in 6th and Jamie Maughan 17th. T</span><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">he under 15 boys have been solid in turning out this year, Will Ballard who keeps improving came home in 4th place ( 5th overall ), Alex Hanson 10th, Daniel Collis 11th and Aaron Conway 18th for third team overall.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">More medals came from the senior ladies, on the day Sue Francis came home in 9th place and she won a bronze in the vet 35 age group, with Helen Preedy 11th, just missing out on the senior medals, and Jenny Eaton in her first year came 18th but won the vet 45 age group. the team came third on the day but finished 4th overall.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The under 11 girls saw 9 turn out. Imogen Harding led the yellow vests home in 8th place, with Lexi Fellows 12th, Chloe Jones 19th, Mai Brown 25th, Annabel Managan 26th, new comer Siobhan Heneghan 34th, Carli Nicholls 36th, Izzy Hole 39th and Bethany Jones 46th. </span><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Rhea Walter came 10th in the u15 girls race which is where she finished overall, and Emma Seymour came in 12th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The senior men were down to just 5 runners again due to other races or competed the day before, James Moorcroft led the team home in 61st, with Gavin Mclaughlin 72nd, Dick Kearn 130th, Nick Bull 132nd and Colin Price 170th for 8th team in Division 1</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Five athletes represented Berkshire on Saturday at the CAU inter counties in Birmingham,<a href="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Yaz-running-2.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-4123" src="http://teamkennet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Yaz-running-2-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="135" /></a> under 13 Yasmin Ryder was the clubs highest placed athlete in 80th place out of over 300 finishers, and was the 5th berkshire girl home where the team came home in 3rd place while for the under 13 Boys, Oli Overend finished in 274th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Micheal Randall competed in the under 17s race where he was 122nd 5th berkshire runner home, in the under 15 boys age group Sam Randall came 211th and Nathan Gillis 213th 5th and 6th for Berkshire. In the S</span><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">enior Mens race Nick Jones made his Berkshire Debut coming home 4th for the county in 252nd and in the Senior Womens Sue Francis finished in 195th.</span></div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Team Kennet were in action on Sunday at Cirencester Park in Cirencester in the fourth round of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League. The Juniors of the club produced the best individual and team performance since the club joined the league 10 years ago, The Under 13 girls race saw Yasmin Ryder take full control of the race just a day after competiting in the Inter Counties to take a convincing win, and a chance to win this age group overall next month. She was backed by Georgina Bradford in 6th place and Charlie Estcourt 7th both girls securing their best positions this year, the team came 2nd just behind Oxford and have secured runners up medals in the league. Chloe Scaplehorn came home in 10th, Carys Cox 22nd, Alex Maughan 23rd and Harriet Allan 29th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Micheal Randall came home 2nd in the u17 mens race which has moved him upto 1st place overall in the individuals, while Luke Conway was 9th. </span><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">Evan Harltley produced one of his best runs in his under 11 career as he was out beaten in the sprint home to finish 3rd, in a race that was dominated by team Kennet as Jamie Maughan was 4th, James McClaughlin 6th and new comer Joseph Richardson 18th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">For the under 15 boys William Ballard also had his best run of the year with 5th place, Alex Hanson 9th and Aaron Conway 20th as the combined u15/17 team came 2nd on the day and now have a chance of taking the team title next month. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">More top 10 individual places followed as Rhea Walter came home in 7th in the under 15 girls race with Emma Seymour 16th, In the under 11 girls Imogen Harding was 8th, but was backed by a big group of TK girls, Ellie Randall 19th, Carli Nicholls 20th, Lexi Fellows 21st, Annabel Mangan 23rd, Chloe Jones 29th, new comer Antonia Richardson 31st, Mai Brown 35th, Izzy Hole 39th and Beth Jones 47th.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">For the under 13 boys Oli Overrend carried on his improving season with an excellent 8th place with Jordan Hole 11th and Alex Davis 24th, with the team coming home in 3rd place.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">The senior women also have chances of individual medals, On the day the ladies came 4th, with Sue Francis 9th (2nd vet 35) and just outside in 4th place in her age group, while Helen Preedy 17th, Lucy Gettins 21st, (2nd vet 45) and secured to a runners up place in her age group, she is backed by Jenny Eaton who on the day came 26th, but was 3rd vet 45 and has almost secured 3rd individual place in this age group. Gillian Anton was 131st on her first outing. The men didnt fair well as injury/illnes and other committments saw a low turnout. Nick Jones ran his best race of the year for 15th place as hes been called out for the Berkshire mens team soon, Gavin Mclaughlin 65th, Martin Fray 104th, Lee Jones 111th, Dick Kearn 153rd and Colin Price 194th</span></div>

The St. Barts pupil came through the field in the last half to gain her first English Schools Championship place. Athletes from team Kennet were well represented in this race Georgina Bradford (St. Barts) came in 75th with Chloe Scaplehorn (Kennet) 79th. Amelia Wenlock (Kennet) had to pull out during the race.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">In the under 15 boys race Samuel Randall (St. Barts) came in top 50,  Alex Hanson came 62nd and Daniel Collis (Kennet) 74th. I</span><span style="font-size: x-small;font-family: Arial">n the u20 mens race, Micheal Randall (Park House) came home in 45th with Luke Conway (Kennet) 54th, Aston Nicholls (St. Barts) also had to pull out due to an asthma attack.</span></div>
