Team Kennet Athletes finished of the cross county season in the Oxford Cross Country League at Henley on Thames with best results of the season.
The under 11 boys were in form and Oliver Tozer continued to improve with his first win of the season lifting him to runners up spot overall, Ivan Chekmazov came in just behind in 3rd place just missing out on a trophy, Elliott Murphy came in 6th and Ethan Kuijten came home in 10th.
Kirsten Fraser came 3rd in the under 13 girls on a very tough course with lots of hills and a downhill finish, this meant that she finished 3rd overall as an individual but also kept the team 3rd overall as well, Anna Patterson came in 14th and Maddi Baker 22nd.
The under 13 boys only saw Noah Kemp come home in 8th place but this was enough to take 3rd team in the league.
The under 9 girls Amber Stiles continued her good season with a 4th place, this was a great result as it put her in 3rd place overall, Anna Hall was 6th and Louise Colby 13th
The under 11 girls Zoe Allen just missed out after keeping her 3rd place all season her run on the day was 4th which slipped her one place, Emma Davies was 14th, Imogen Newby 19th, Leilah Gaye 28th and Lilia Gale 38th
The Senior Mens team finished on a high in 3rd team in Division 2 finishing 5th in the League, the result shows if they got all the clubs top athletes out they would be in contention winning top league, on the day Phil Murphy was 21st, Bart Kuijten 60th, Chris Hall 66th, Bradley Thomas 75th, Mark Little 147th, Andy Waters 156th, Kim Darcy-Masters 178th, Mitch Poustie 209th, Simon Gale 222nd.
Under 9 Boys Aaron Carter ran well in 8th place followed by Harry Strutt 12th, Noah Clarke 13th and Reuben Kuijten 23rd
In the under 15 Girls race Emily Tucker just got the better of Annelise Gale coming in 18th and 19th respectively
