Team Kennet managed to pull some athletes together for the short notice of round 2 of the Oxford Cross Country League at Carterton.
The League having a few days to pull the match through managed to do so on a strict basis, but with numbers all round dropping athletes who went could pick up good results.
It was Emily Faulkner that took this match honors as she came 5th in the Senior Ladies Race and coming 2nd out of the u20s, Susan Francis came 19th overall in the same race and both women are lying second overall in their age groups of u20 and vet 45.
in the under 15 age groups good runs came from Rebecca Thomson 4th and Georgina Thomson 6th with Pippa Thomas 13th while in the boys Cameron Langley produced his best run so far this year in 5th with Luca vicaria 8th and Toby Thomas 21st.
Both the under 17s came 8th in their races Rosa Lawrence in the womens and Bradley Thomas in the mens
The Younger races saw Ethan Kuiten come home 3rd in the under 9s with Harry Strutt 11th, in the Girls u9s Lilia Gale was 5th and Amelia Phillips 7th
The Under 11s saw the clubs biggest turn out Kirsten Fraser taking 4th place with Zoe Allen just behind 7th, then Clare McGonnell 12th, Eve Brown 13th, Katie Pennicott 22nd, Maisy Turner 41st
In the under 13s Annelise Gale came home in 15th with Emily Tucker 21st and Charlotte Absolom 23rd while in the Boys Toby Clark got the better of Tomas Matthews this time 17th and 19th
The under 11 boys Jacob Wood was 8th with Oliver Tozer just behind 10th, Jack Strutt 19th, Jack Pyke 35th, Jacob Avery 41st, William Appleby 44th and Findlay Mount 45th
In the Senior Mens Bart Kuijten led the yellow vests in 96th, Dean Makar 115th, Andrew Waters 151st, Chris Thomson 184th and Simon Gale 201st
