Team Kennet sent quite a few athletes to the Basingstoke Open meeting on Saturday 1st April. 5 gold, 5 silvers and 4 bronze medals were won, again it was third time lucky, another gold for Ben East in the under 15 Boys Javelin breaking the club record again throwing 46.83m, in the same age group Harry Booker won the Shot with 10.30 and a Silver from Oliver Gregory 9.44, Gregory made it another Gold in the Hammer with 21.59 and Oliver Ford won the under 13 boys Shot with 8.22, Kian Hockaday struck Silver in the same age group in the Javelin 31.11. with U11 Zoe Allen taking silver in 150m and Bronze in the 75m. More bronzes came from Charlotte Absolom in u13 girls High jump and Kirsten Fraser in the u11 girls Long jump, on the track Anna Pettit took a Gold in the under 15 girls 1500m with a time of 5.03.89 and later went on to claim a silver in the 300m 45.71. In the under 13 girls Annelise Gale took a Silver in the 800m 2.44.1 in the younger u11 boys 600m Oliver Tozer was 3rd in his heat in 2.04.4 and in the older age group of the under 17 men Stuart Bladon clocked 54.72 in the 400m for Bronze.
At the WSEH Open, Zach Montgomery threw 10.91 in the Shot winning the event and ran 12.3 over 100m.
Deborah Montgomery took part in the Lee Valley open on Saturday 8th, in the shot she threw 10.08 to win the event and in the Discus came 3rd with a throw of 24.05
