Team Kennet athletes were in action on Sunday in the last of the Oxford Cross Country League matches of the year. In the under 13 girls age group Molly Jones secured a Bronze medal coming third on the day, Nancy Eadie was next home in 5th place which was her overall finishing placing and Georgina Thomson was the last of the A team home in 15th place securing a Team Silver Medal. The B team was Annelise Gale 18th, Pippa Thomas 25th and Lily D Arcy Masters 29th and Emily Tucker 33rd.
The under 15/17 Girls team came 3rd overall in the league, on the day in the under 17 age group Emily Faulkner came home in 3rd place just missing out on top three awards, Rosa Lawrence was 7th. In the under 15 girls injury/illness kept most away. Lucy Wells did enough to secure a Silver individual medal, Pheobe Hoaen came 16th on the day in the under 15s.
The under 15/17 boys Bradley Thomas came 7th and in the under 15 boys Cameron Langley 8th and Toby Thomas 15th. The under 13 boys new comer William Jones came 22nd
In the Senior ladies Helen Preedy led the way home in 18th with Sue francis 24th. While in the men’s Chris Hall came 55th, Dean Maker 122nd were the best of the seniors.
For the younger age groups, in the under 9s, Zoe Allen came 2nd in the girls and Emma Davies 9th, Maisie Hamilton-Unwin 15th, Caitlin Davies 17th and in the Boys Oliver Tozer 7th, Lucas Mercer 13th, Joseph Jones 15th, Jack Pike 17th. The under 11 girls Kirsten Fraser was the first one home for the club in 7th, Lottie Absolom 14th, Eve Brown 19th, Madeline Baker 28th, Aimee Dickson 31st, Ava Elverson 32nd , Tegan Kell 35th, Imogen Jones 37th and in the under 11 boys Toby Clark 16th, Jacob Woods 17th, Joshua Goatley 31st, Kian D Arcy-Masters 38th and Thomas Sportan 44th
