Several Team Kennet Athletes took part in competitions over the weekend. At the Meta Switch Games under 20 athlete Carys Cox took part in the 400m, clocking a good start to her indoor campaign in 61.87 in preparation to the South of England Championships in two weeks time. Holly Donohoe stepped up to the 400m in the Under 17 Womens as she clocked a fast 64.53
At the Eton Stadium it was the WSEH Indoor open where Stuart Bladon carried on with his competitions in line for the UK Champs for Pentathlon in March. He took part in the Shot 8.24 p.b. the 60m Hurdles 10.03 p.b. and also the Triple Jump 9.86 p.b.
The Park Runners also did well to over the weekend. Helen Preedy won the ladies section at the Slough Park run in 20.48 while Simon Whatson clocked the clubs fastest time at the Newbury Park Run 17.39 with Daniel Collis 19.18, Daniel Hall 19.26, Sam Llewellyn 20.05, Dean Makar 20.22, Anna Pettit 21.11, Phil Cowhig 23.33, Bradley Thomas 24.28, Simon Hockaday 27.18, Brooke Asser 27.39 Paul Brown 28.19, Izzy Brown 28.19 all being sub 30 runners.
