Team Kennet Athlete George Anstie collected the silver medal at the Nottingham 2015 CPISRA (Cerebral Palsy International Sports & Recreation Association) World Games last week. George who is 21yrs old represented England in the Discus under the classification F38. George’s 1st round throw produced a PB 24.04 which took 2nd place. George who recently qualified as an Assistant Coach at Team Kennet is also under the guidence of his own coach and training partner Cheryl Angell, who also attended the Games to support George and his family. 13 Countries took part at the games with athletes coming from as far as Australia. Athletes took part in a number of disciplines including Athletics at the Harvey Hadden Sports Centre, Nottingham. The event was run by Cerebral Palsy Sport. The games themselves are for athletes of any age who have Cerebal Paulsy.
