Team Kennet had several athletes represent Berkshire on Sunday in the Inter Counties match held at Hendon for u20s and u15s.
Millie Calkin stepped up to run the 400m, she ran a new personnel best and broke the club u20 record to finish 5th in the final with 59.2 becoming the club’s second female athlete to break 60 seconds this year.
In the u15 boys Sam Hart just missed out on his best time in the 1500m in a tactical race, he clocked a fast 4.20.9 to come home in 3rd place, team mate Stuart Bladon gained a lot of experience in the High Jump being bottom of his age group coming 8th clearing 1.60
Darcy Fleming qualified for the final in the 75m hurdles with 11.44 coming 2nd in her heat. In the final she came 3rd in a slightly faster time of 11.31.
