Team Kennet were well represented in nearly all the age groups at Parliament Fields for the National Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Credit goes to the under 13 girls team who finished 28th place overall, Anna Pettit came home first out of the clubs athletes over a tough muddy course in 85th place with Izzy Hole just behind in 125th also not far behind was Lucy Wells in 178th and finally Phoebe Hoaen making up the team in 335th place.
Sam Hart produced the clubs best placing of the day in the under 15 boys age group coming home in 63rd place with Tom Murrell 156th.
Callum O’Neill ended up the clubs only under 20 competitor and he gained massive amounts of experience coming in 93rd place.
In the under 13 boys race Toby Thomas came home in 266th place while in the under 17 women Georgina Bradford came 127th and in the under 15 girls Rosa Lawrence was 332nd.
The final race of the day was the mens which saw 2005 finishers with Deam Makar 1084th and Justin Wells 1486th.
