Team Kennet turned up to a Foggy and raw cold winters day at the third fixture of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League on Sunday at Culham Park, after the days results the club have kept up its campaign for a lot of individual and team medals.
The Senior Ladies continued to lead Division 2 with Sue Francis coming home in 22nd and Helen Preedy not far behind in 30th with good backing from Lucy Gettins in 52nd
In the under 13 girls Anna Pettit was involved in a sprint finish to be edged into 4th place which she holds overall, she helped the team come 2nd on the day placing them 3rd overall, Izzy Hole continued to improve with a great 5th place and Lucy Wells 11th, Phoebe Hoaen 18th and Emily Collings 36th.
In the under 13 boys James McLaughlin came home in 4th place (3rd overall) with Ryan Cannons 8th and Jack Cannons 13th bringing the team home in 2nd place (2nd overall) Cameron Langley 14th and Joshua Sells 30th
Sam Hart kept up his campaign for individual medals coming home in 2nd place in the under 15 boys (2nd Overall) with Tom Murrell 5th and Josh Livingstone 12th bringing the team home in 3rd place.
The combined under 15/17 Womens race saw Georgina Bradford 8th with Chloe Scaplehorn 12th in the older age group with Susie Drake 14th and Effie Dollar 18th in the younger age group
The Senior men kept up their average of 12 runners per match, Alex Hanson was first home in 18th place and 3rd in the u20 age group (3rd overall) with Callum O Neill 20th, then a big gap to Dean Makar 116th, Martin Fray 131st, Gavin McLaughlin 157th, Justin Wells 162nd, Danny Collis 171st, Jon Phillips 172nd, Chris Treacher 178th, Mike Sheridan 180th, Chris Thomson 206th, Colin Price 226th.
In the younger age groups Digby Riggall came home in an excellent 3rd place in the u9 boys, with Edward Hall 5th, Thomas Hall 10th, James Newman 18th, Harry Morgan 19th and Sebastian Simpson 21st in the Girls age group Aimee Dickson came home in 4th place
The under 11 age group saw Lucy Draper run her best race so far in 4th place, a battle of the twins saw Rebecca Thomson 8th and Sister Georgina 9th, Annalise Gale was next home in 21st, Brooke Asser 32nd, Daisy Tolhurst 36th, Pippa Thomas 37th, Emily Tucker 38th, Kate Newman 43rd, Molly Leach 52nd and Lily D-Arcey-Measures 54th.
The Boys Maxim Brown came home in the yellow vest in 13th place with Oliver Brashaw 19th, Cameron Dunbar 20th, James Wallace 24th, Sammy Campbell 29th, James Leach 33rd, Harry Davis 34th, Peter Aird 39th, Charlie Hart 42nd, Finlay Davis 43rd, Matthew Jones 44th, Oliver Minns 48th and Karl Smith 49th.
