London Indoor Games

Two Team Kennet athletes attended the U15 London Indoor Games. Darcey Fleming was trying to improve her hurdles technique before the England Age Group Indoor Championships next month but had to settle for 3rd place in both runs of the 60m hurdles with similar times of 9.39 and 9.40s – marginally down on her PB of 9.35s at the SEAA Championships. Mia Eldridge was trying to qualify for the England Age Group Indoor Championships and came 4th for the shot with a new PB (and club record) of 9.55m, which was just above the qualifying distance, before a quick dash across London for the Berkshire Sportshall match.
