SEAA pentathlon championships

Team Kennet had 3 athletes take part in the South of England Combined Penthalon Championships over the weekend, which saw Zoe Forte secure the clubs first ever medal in these events. Zoe moved up into the under 17 age group competing at the bottom age, she was just shy of the 3000pts to earn her a Bronze. her best events were the 60m hurdles coming 3rd out of the 27 athletes 9.81 which she matched the same position in the Shot 8.60, her high jump was 1.50m with a long jump of 4.53 and 800m of 2.43.29

Stuart Bladon took part in the under 15 boys were he came 6th, struggled at the 60m hurdles in 12.2 and the shot 6.50 but picked up well in the long jump 4.36, his favoured event high jump 1.48 and 800m 2.31.02

Kira Angell took part in the u15 girls, coming 27th in a big field one of the best for years, her High Jump 1.40 best of her events, with a long jump 3.68, Shot 5.70, 60m hurdles 12.34 and 800m 2.54.37
