The Berkshire schools took place on saturday at Bracknell and Team Kennet Athletes representing their schools achieved 8 county champions one of the best placed clubs in the championship.
Izzy McHattie will again be going to the English Schools in Gateshead in July by taking the u17 Javelin title with a 36.45 throw. Luke Angell just missed out on selection by winning the boys same age group with 49.15. The 1500m races saw both Nathan Gillis 4.23.1 and Rhea Walter 5.23.1 win their u17 age groups, and Josh Willock again just missing out but took a fine win in the u17 200m 23.2
In the older age group under 20s Alishia Bradford took her first schools county title in the Discus 26.91 and Micheal Randall won the 2km steeplechase in 6.30.6. Yolanda Nicholson came 2nd in the u17 long jump with 5.32 and Emma Seymour coming 3rd in the same age group in the Discus 26.88. In the u15s Millie Calkin came 2nd in the 200m 27.6, while in the 100m Sarah Saunders was 3rd 13.5 and Annabel Chaffey was 3rd in the long jump 4.34 and Jonathon Gaze came 3rd in the 200m 24.9
