Team Kennet

Team Kennet carried on from where they were last year with a well deserved second place in a high scoring match with the under 15 girls winning their age group and all the other age groups coming second on the day. Team Kennet athletes went to the Radley open meeting on Sunday 10th April where they took their fair share of medals.
Gold medal winners were Oliver Hewitt U13 boys Discus 14.35, Georgina Bradford u15 girls 1500m in 5.08.2 and Yolanda Nicholson in the U17 200m with a fast 26.6.

Team Kennet have been in a few open meetings picking up a clutch of medals, at Bracknell under 17 Peter Saunders won his long jump in 6.01 for a gold medal, while in the same age group Yolanda Nicholson won the 100m final in 13.25, Nicholson also picked up a Bronze in the Long Jump [...]

Team Kennet’s Codie Burnett became one of the Berkshire team to win a the counties first ever Gold Team Medal at the Indoor Sportshall UK National Final as the u15 girls team on their debut in the finals were surprise winners.
