English Schools Cross Country

Four Athletes from Team Kennet represented their schools and the County Berkshire at the English Schools Cross Country Championships at Birmingham on Saturday in warm spring conditions.

Reading Half Marathon

The Reading half marathon on Sunday saw brilliant conditions for runners taking part, amongst the 10,000 runners were several club athletes from Team Kennet. Nick Jones was the clubs first runner home in a new p.b. of 1.16.33 in 82nd place, u23 athlete Tom Milburn came 132nd which was just outside his p.b. in 1.19.21, [...]

Crookham Throws

Team Kennet’s throwers were out in force at the annual Open Throwing Competition in memory of Arthur Killbery at Crookham Common on Sunday. The best performances came from Isobel McHattie winning both the Under 15 Girls Javelin with a throw of 35.90m and the Shot with 10.94m and from Max Labourne winning the Under 15 [...]

Oxford Mail – Round 5

Team Kennet achieved one of  its best results to secure a good handfull of medals on Sunday in the Oxford Mail cross country league at Swindon.
