The wind and the rain added to the challenge on Sunday as 4 members of Team Kennet turned out to complete the 2mile run, 10 mile bike and 2 mile run event.
Of the 520 entrants, Mark Shepherd came home first with a good cycle time of 25m 55s (wind had eased a lot by then!), finishing 57th overall, he was followed by Michael Randall and Aston Nicholls in 90th and 93rd place who also finished 2nd and 3rd juniors. Dave Mitcham finished 186th.
