BBO Cross Country

Team Kennet recorded their best ever Championships at Maidenhead in a stormy Berks, Bucks and Oxon Cross Country Championship on Saturday.

Rachel Elliott took her first ever title in this championship in the senior ladies race by just 2 seconds, also helping the senior Ladies to their best ever placing in the team event one better than last year taking the Silver Team prize, Helen Preedy came in a strong 8th and Jenny Eaton 26th.

The under 13 girls also matched the 2nd place in the team prize with Yasmin Ryder coming home in 6th place with excerlent team support from Georgina Bradford 10th and new comer Alex Maughan 14th. Chloe Scaplehorn was 26th and Annabel Chaffey 41st made up the rest.

In the under 13 boys Tom Uden just missed out on bronze in 5th place which was matched in the team placings as well with Alex Crossman 22nd, Aron Conway 23rd and Christian Randall 24th.

Micheal Randall led the under 17 men home in 8th place for 5th in the team, Aston Nicholls was 13th, Luke Conway 26th and Stephen Cook 27th.

Mark Shepherd led the mens team home in 6th place with an individual 11th foloowed by Tom Millburn 31st, Rob Findlay 55th, Neale Marlow 58th, Jono Wylie 67th, Steve Berry 68th and Colin Price 69th.

In the under 15 girls Katie Herbert was 28th and Emma Seymour 31st.
