Littledown Triathlon

Sunday saw the last race in the TK Triathlon series, taking place near Bournemouth. Team Kennet were represented by 3 entrants, all competing in different age categories. Rob Findlay (Vet 50), swam well completing the 400m in 7m 26s, Rog and Aston (Vet 40 and Youth) went in the same wave completing the swim in 6m45s and 5m 41s respectively. Traffic lights on the cycle ride held Rog up and was obliged to stop which impacted his progress, but Rob and Aston had no such issues, all completing the 18miles on a fast course. The 4 mile undulating run completed the event and the series, Rob finishing 43rd overall, 5th in category, Rog finishing 54th overall, 11th in category, Aston finishing 13th overall, and winning the U20 category.
