Oxford Mail 2009/10 – Round 2

Team Kennet’s athletes tackled the wet and muddy conditions at the 2nd Oxford Mail cross country league on Sunday at Cullham Park near Abingdon. Tom Uden had anther superb run in the u13 boys to come home in 2nd place with Aaron Conway 21st.

At the Berkshire Sportshall U13/U15 Championships at Eton on 29th November, both the Under 13 Girls and the Under 15 girls came a creditable 3rd, the latter despite only having 2 team members at the end. Sam Randall also came 3rd in the Under 15 boys individual competition.

Castle Combe Duathlon

The wind and the rain added to the challenge on Sunday as 4 members of Team Kennet turned out to complete the 2mile run, 10 mile bike and 2 mile run event.

Team Kennet recorded their best ever Championships at Maidenhead in a stormy Berks, Bucks and Oxon Cross Country Championship on Saturday.

Charity Glow Night – November 4th

Over 80 youngsters turned up for the Glow Theme Night held at the CCAT track in aid of Children in need, a total of £100 was raised from the youngsters who were glowing with fun and excitement, getting involved in Running, Jumping and Throwing

Mass Attack Duathlon

Team Kennet were represented by Tom Milburn and Nick Weston at the Mass Attack Duathlon at Thruxton Race Circuit on October 18th.
