to Team Kennet Triathlon & Athletics Club

Team Kennet caters for all levels of ability in the sports of Athletics and Triathlon including: track & field and sportshall athletics, cross country, running, cycling and swimming for triathlon and other multi sports events such as Biathlon and Duathlon.

Mad Mile Postponed Tonight

Because of the high temperatures, Mad Mile Race 3 will not ttakeplace tonight (1st July). The race is rescheduled for next week 8th July.

RACE NUMBERS AND START TIMES WILL BE POSTED HERE ON 23RD AUGUST

No additional names are being taken on the reserve list as we have over 30 already.

All entrants should print this information regarding the 2009 event.

Wednesday - Change of Venue

The main junior club night on Wednesday will take place at Crookham Track during the School Summer Holidays from 29th July to 2nd September inclusive as work is being done at Park House School.

Helpers Needed

The club needs additional helpers for the main junior club night on Wednesdays. Training will be given. Please speak to Nick Bull if you are interested.

Team Kennet were represented by Nick Weston on Sunday 28th June in one of the countries most famous ‘Half Ironman’ distance triathlons. An excellent all round performance of: 1.9km swim 0.35hr, 92km bike 2hr.40, 21km run 1hr.35 and a total finishing time of 4hr.53. Good enough for 19th senior male and 31st overall out of 283. [...]
